Colorado Chapter of NENA/APCO

The Colorado chapter of NENA/APCO is committed to providing complete public safety communications expertise, professional development, technical assistance, advocacy and outreach to benefit our members and the public. We foster technological advancement, availability and implementation of a universal emergency telephone number system (9-1-1) by promoting research, planning, training and education.

Board Nominations Open

Your State Chapter needs your guidance! Considering running for office for one of the below positions.

  • 2nd Vice President (4-year commitment)

  • Treasurer

  • Eastern Region Director

  • Western Region Director (Continental Divide separates east from west)

  • APCO Executive Council Representative

  • Commercial Advisory Member

We will accept nominations (including self-nominations) until February 26th. The voting will begin on March 2nd. Those elected will be sworn into office virtually at the Colorado NENA/APCO Executive meeting on April 6th.

You must be a full member, public or private (non-commercial) in good standing. Any APCO commercial member may serve as the Chapter Commercial Advisory Member (CCAM).

To be considered eligible, the member must provide a letter of acknowledgement from their employer. The letter must state they are aware of their candidacy and the employer believes they will have time to fulfill their duties.


Submit nominations (including self-nominations) and the letter to past.president@conenaapco.org.
